MGR Workforce is looking for motivated Junior Fabricators to join our fabrication team in Marietta, Ohio. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have recently completed welding or metal fabrication training, or those with some hands-on fabrication experience who want to build a long-term career in structural steel manufacturing.

You'll work alongside experienced fabricators, develop your welding and fabrication skills, and gain valuable experience on large structural steel projects.

What You'll Do

• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of structural steel components.
• Read basic blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements to complete fabrication tasks accurately.
• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare steel materials for welding and assembly.
• Perform MIG and Flux Core (Dual Shield) welding under the guidance of experienced fabricators.
• Grind, clean, bevel, and prepare steel surfaces before and after welding.
• Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, plasma cutters, and other shop tools safely.
• Help inspect completed work to ensure it meets production and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Learn advanced fabrication techniques while working with senior team members.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of fabrication, welding, or structural steel experience.
• Trade school, vocational training, or welding education is highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of MIG (GMAW) and/or Flux Core (FCAW) welding.
• Ability to read basic shop drawings, measurements, and fabrication instructions.
• Comfortable using measuring tools, grinders, drills, saws, and other fabrication equipment.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fabrication shop environment.
• Experience in structural steel fabrication, heavy manufacturing, or industrial environments is considered an asset.

Compensation

• $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
