Customer Service Representative - $22-23/hr.

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Customer Service & Membership Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, managing multiple priorities, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Provide prompt, professional customer support via phone, email, and chat.
  
  



• 
  Listen carefully to customer inquiries and identify appropriate solutions.
  
  



• 
  Process new memberships, membership renewals, product orders, and subscription requests.
  
  



• 
  Conduct monthly outreach to members regarding upcoming membership renewals.
  
  



• 
  Maintain and update member and customer account information.
  
  



• 
  Assist members with questions related to memberships, events, publications, products, and services.
  
  



• 
  Process event registrations, transfers, payments, and refunds.
  
  



• 
  Prepare and distribute registration confirmations, receipts, and invoices.
  
  



• 
  Support event administration, including badge preparation and attendee record management.
  
  



• 
  Assist with collections efforts for outstanding invoices.
  
  



• 
  Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial recordkeeping, including accounts payable-related activities.
  
  



• 
  Partner with the reception team to manage front desk responsibilities, greet visitors, and direct incoming calls.
  
  



• 
  Represent the organization at local events and meetings as needed, with occasional local travel required.
  
  

Qualifications

• 
  2+ years of customer service, administrative, membership services, or related experience required.
  
  



• 
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  
  



• 
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
  



• 
  Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing accurate, timely responses.
  
  



• 
  Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  
  



• 
  Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  
  



• 
  Postsecondary education is preferred but not required.
