Disaster Management Capacity Building Coordinator We are seeking a DM Capacity Building Coordinator to support the facilitation of Learning and Development (L&D) efforts and the management of associated data, knowledge and evidence. Job Overview To ensure the American Red Cross ISD can continue to provide high quality of service, the American Red Cross has established a Disaster Management (DM) Capacity Building unit focused on translating the Programmatic Learning and Development needs to practical and experiential learning for the IGP and ISD. We seek a DM Capacity Building Coordinator to support the facilitation of Learning and Development (L&D) efforts and the management of associated data, knowledge and evidence. Qualifications Strong technical background in learning and development Project management, multilateral coordination, and data, information, and knowledge management skills Ability to work in a dynamic, highly collaborative, and service‑focused environment requiring high level of multi‑tasking, flexibility, initiative, collaboration, and a creative approach to work. Bachelor's degree required in related field. Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, competency‑based approaches, training methodologies, learning systems, and tools. Prior experience developing, designing, and/or implementing competency‑based learning activities is a strong plus. Ability to work independently and guide L&D conversations with technical experts Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Data and Information Management; direct experience with commonly used systems and platforms referenced in this job is a strong plus. Strong knowledge of knowledge management principles, approaches, and tools. Ability to manage projects, prioritize, multi‑task, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in a fast‑moving and dynamic environment. Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time. Prior experience in international humanitarian sector, disaster management, or RCRC Movement is a strong plus. Ability to work with volunteers is a strong plus. Fluent written & spoken English required. Additional languages a strong plus. Must possess strong personal integrity, professionalism, ability to adapt to changing situations, and a commitment to RCRC fundamental principles. Salary Information The salary range for this position is $85k-$90k. This role is not eligible for relocation assistance.
