Location: Holland, MI
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Friday)
Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a skilled and detail-oriented fabricator looking for your next opportunity? We’re seeking a Metal Fabricator to join our team in Holland, MI. In this role, you'll help manufacture high-quality stairway systems, railings, and custom furniture while ensuring precision craftsmanship and attention to detail.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Metal Fabricator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Fabrication: Operate jig and fixture tables to accurately build and assemble railings, stairway systems, and custom furniture.
- Welding: Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminum materials.
- Finishing Work: Grind flat and outside corner welds to achieve a high-quality Class A finish.
In addition, you will read and interpret blueprints to fabricate parts according to specifications and ensure all work meets quality standards.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Three or more years of metal fabrication or related experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience working with steel and aluminum required
Skills:
- Welding Proficiency: Strong MIG and TIG welding skills with the ability to produce quality welds.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain precision throughout fabrication and finishing processes.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to accurately interpret drawings and specifications.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Experience working with fabrication tools, fixtures, and welding equipment.
- Quality Focus: Commitment to producing high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and work independently.
