If you have your PE license (or the ability to obtain your PE license within 1 year), a bachelor’s degree with major work in civil engineering or a related field, and at least 4 years of experience in professional civil engineering including some supervisory experience , they want to hear from you! Primarily Monday – Friday, daytime schedule. There can be some flexibility with hours based on your needs, such as working 7am – 4pm or 8am – 5pm. Some after‑hours work may be required based on project load, but this is not the norm. Compensation: Starting between $94,222 – $121,826/yr, based on your experience and background. Essential duties/responsibilities: This position performs complex professional and difficult administrative work overseeing the planning, design and inspection of engineering and construction projects in the City with particular emphasis on transportation and infrastructure. Responsible for engineering, storm water, MS-4 program, site plans, bridges, transportation, and traffic services. Oversees and manages major capital improvement projects, particularly those involving transportation systems and infrastructure. Plans, organizes and directs the design and construction of capital improvements ensuring compliance with City development, construction and maintenance policies, rules and regulations.
