Job Summary The Site Manager is responsible for the daily sanitation processes, budgets, and team members for an entire facility. They ensure that the crew and floor are ready prior to sanitation, that all crews operate safely and efficiently, and accompany inspectors at the shift conclusion. The Site Manager directly oversees site budgets to prevent overspending and monitors Food Safety and Safety KPIs to maintain compliance with company standards. Education High school diploma or GED (required) Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or some college courses (preferred) Experience 5-6 years of verifiable supervisory experience in the Protein Processing industry or a similar heavy industry, or certification as a QSI Site Management Training Program graduate (required) 6+ years in the protein industry as a supervisor or in a quality assurance role (preferred) Position Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Sound knowledge of sanitary restoration steps Proficient in industrial safety practices such as Lock Out/Tag Out, HAZCOMM, and others Familiar with GMPs Bi‑lingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred Experience with automated time and attendance systems such as Kronos or ADP (preferred) Core Competencies Coordinate with customer maintenance personnel pre‑shift to ready the floor for sanitation Conduct group lockout training with new supervisors Issue or replace PPE for team members as needed Ensure adequate staffing, training, and equipment for safety and effectiveness Communicate special sanitation requirements to the team before the shift Confirm safety procedures are understood by the team Inspect equipment following cleaning and sanitization, before, during, and after the process Approve crew reporting and departure times Accompany customer QA and USDA inspectors for Pre‑Op inspections Attend business reviews as QSI Operations representative Maintain constant communication with customer management about sanitation operations Align floor staffing to achieve timely sanitation, adjusting for short crews as necessary Complete required reports and communicate with customer personnel Monitor weekly time cards and attendance in QSI’s ADP system Maintain records of sanitation processes, deficiencies, and employee training Perform duties of a sanitation team supervisor when required Administer company’s progressive discipline policy when necessary Conduct group Lock Out Tag Out procedures during sanitation Operate special equipment such as forklifts or scissor lifts upon receiving training (at times) Execute other duties or special projects as assigned Job Requirements Effective communication with team members, company managers, customer staff, and government officials Willingness to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to work in all environmental conditions typical of food processing plants (hot, cold, loud, wet) Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, representing the company positively Work effectively across all organizational levels (management, supervisory, and entry‑level) Dependable, competent, and willing to follow up on assigned tasks #J-18808-Ljbffr
