This role ensures the timely and accurate provision of Respiratory Therapy services to a diverse range of patients, including inpatients, outpatients, and clinical staff. Key Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• BLS certification (Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal) required
• Familiarity with common respiratory therapy procedures and equipment
• Proficiency in pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to new environments and facility protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments (aerosol, CPT/Flutter/PEP Mask, incentive spirometry, MDI, oxygen therapy, BiPAP-CPAP)
• Perform advanced procedures and monitoring (suctioning, extubation, mechanical ventilation, ventilator alarms, arterial puncture and analysis, pulmonary function screen, EKGs)
• Oversee quality control for blood gas laboratory
• Verify physician orders and ensure accurate documentation
• Collaborate with health teams and assist with departmental in-service programs
• Uphold safety policies including oxygen tank management and protocol adherence
