Travel Respiratory Therapist | Endicott, New York

Schedule:

• Night shifts (36 hours per week)
• Day shift orientation provided
• 13-week assignment

This role is ideal for experienced respiratory care professionals seeking a rewarding and dynamic environment. You'll be pivotal in supporting critical care, NICU, and external patient transports, utilizing advanced technologies such as V60 BiPAP and 980 Puritan Bennett ventilators while working within EPIC EMR.


Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure
• Demonstrated experience in critical care and NICU settings
• Proficiency with V60 BiPAP and 980 Puritan Bennett ventilators
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Ability and willingness to participate in external patient transports
• BLS certification (Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy services to patients across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations
• Administer a variety of therapies: aerosol, CPT/Flutter/PEP mask, incentive spirometry, MDI, suctioning, and extubation
• Manage oxygen, mechanical ventilation, and high flow therapy equipment
• Conduct Arterial Blood Gas analysis and quality control
• Complete accurate medical record documentation and comply with department standards
• Participate in in-service education and interdepartmental collaboration
