Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Johnson City, New York. This role focuses on delivering critical respiratory therapy services, primarily in a critical care and NICU environment. Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist
Administer respiratory therapy procedures as directed.
Perform Aerosol Therapy, CPT/Flutter/PEP Mask, Incentive Spirometry, M.D.I., and Suctioning procedures.
Handle BiPAP-CPAP therapy, Mechanical Ventilation, and associated alarms.
Conduct Pulmonary Function Screen and Pulse Oximetry procedures.
Manage patient healthcare information and various medication systems.
Ensure compliance with department standards and maintain accurate records.
Assist with in-service programs and perform additional related duties.
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist
Graduation from an accredited School for Respiratory Therapy.
New York State Respiratory Therapy Permit or License.
Registered by the NBRC as a Respiratory Therapist.
BLS and ACLS Certification from American Heart Association.
Up to three years of related experience, including critical care and NICU.
Experience with V60 BiPAP/980 Puritan Bennett Ventilators and EPIC software.
Capability to participate in external patient transports.
