Business Office Assistant
Juliette Fowler Communities is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Office Assistant to support our Business Office operations. This part-time, onsite role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with financial data, values accuracy, and wants to contribute to a mission-driven organization that makes a meaningful impact.
What You'll Do
As a Business Office Assistant, you will play an important role in keeping our financial operations accurate, compliant, and well organized by supporting daily accounting and billing activities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, billing, deposits, and general accounting support
- Process invoices, support check runs, manage vendor setup and W-9s, and assist with payment processing
- Support billing and collections by generating and distributing monthly statements and helping resolve billing discrepancies
- Reconcile corporate credit cards and assist with treasury and cash deposit activities
- Help maintain audit readiness by organizing documentation and assisting with month-end close, audits, and 1099 reporting
- Respond to ad-hoc requests and support the Business Office team as needed
- Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and alignment with Juliette Fowler Communities' values
