Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license in New York State
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Prior experience working in a K-12 school setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing IEPs, conducting assessments, and delivering therapy to students with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their individualized education programs
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of students' speech and language abilities
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and services
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences
• Adapt therapy plans to address student goals and evolving needs throughout the assignment
