Job Details Job Location: Village Bakery - Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304Position Type: Full Time Greet, assist and thank all customers in a prompt, courteous, friendly, and business-like manner. Check product quality to ensure freshness. Review \"sell by\" dates and take appropriate action Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise. Build attractive displays and stock shelves. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines. Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained and temperature logs are maintained. Record all items at correct prices in their correct departments quickly and efficiently. Ability to communicate with the public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner. Computer and phone literacy required Keep supplies filled and maintained. Assist customers in locating items or identifying the correct price. Clean up spills and maintain proper sanitation. Assist in training new cashiers. Must have the ability to bend, squat, and frequently lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
