Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative

Location: Remote (Must reside in an eligible U.S. state)

Job Type: 5-Month Contract

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM CT

Pay: $21.00/hour

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to support a healthcare services organization during a busy enrollment period. In this fully remote role, you will assist health plan members by answering benefit-related questions, providing guidance on coverage, and delivering exceptional customer service.

This position is ideal for candidates who are empathetic, patient, and experienced in handling high-volume inbound calls.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from Medicare members regarding benefits, coverage, and general inquiries.

• Provide accurate information and educate members on available healthcare benefits.

• Deliver compassionate and professional customer service to an elderly population.

• Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records.

• Navigate multiple systems while resolving member concerns efficiently.

• Meet quality, productivity, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of 2 years of call center experience

• High School Diploma or GED

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to handle a high volume of inbound calls

Preferred:

• Health insurance payer experience

• Medicare experience

• Medicaid experience

Work Environment

• Fully remote position

• Typical call volume ranges from 50-70 inbound calls per day

• Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends required

• Candidates must reside in one of the following states:

Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, or Wisconsin.
