Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) for a travel assignment in Templeton, California. Start date 09/07/2026 for a 13-week contract. Responsibilities
- Plan and provide nursing care for obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, assess labor progress, and administer medications as ordered
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and support patient safety, infection control, and comfort
- Circulate for C-sections and assist the surgical team as needed
- Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel within scope of practice
- Document care, maintain thorough handoffs, and provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Ability to work in a hospital Labor and Delivery setting
- Labor and Delivery experience preferred
- Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts in a travel assignment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
