As a Security Officer Visitor Access Control in Goodyear, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and visitor access, and support daily operations through professional communication and customer service. In this access control role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while staying visible, attentive, and responsive. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, contractors, and/or drivers, help to deter unauthorized access, and document visitor and vehicle activity in required logs and systems.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures and emergency response guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, gate areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts.
• Support daily operations at a logistics and distribution location by assisting with check-in processes, maintaining clear communication with site personnel, and following post orders and client-directed procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
