Reports To: Director of Nursing SUMMARY Assume responsibility for coordinating nursing personnel to assure optimal delivery of nursing care to residents on a shift, implementing administrative responsibilities, activities, policies, and procedures for the skilled nursing facility while working within their scope of practice and licensure. Reports To: Director of Nursing SUMMARY Assume responsibility for coordinating nursing personnel to assure optimal delivery of nursing care to residents on a shift, implementing administrative responsibilities, activities, policies, and procedures for the skilled nursing facility while working within their scope of practice and licensure. What You'll Do
- Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure quality resident care
- Assess resident conditions and respond to changes in clinical status
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and care planning
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to nursing staff
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
- Monitor documentation accuracy and completion
- Respond to emergencies and incident reports as needed
