If you are a Shop Leader, with proven high level experience and have diagnostic experience as an automotive Tech and experience advanced mechanical experience, send us your resume for immediate consideration.The Lead Technician/Mechanic position requires talent and technical expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring skills in driving a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction.Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair to Mfg. specificationsBackground in all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance including:Complete brake and hydraulic repair experienceDiagnostics, Exhaust systems and troubleshooting backgroundPrimary and/or advanced fuel ignition experienceElectrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systemsAdequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individualsShop Leader: Complete Vehicle Inspection Program responsibilities as well as training and assisting fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.What BIG O TIRES offers:Excellent compensation based on proven experience.Kaiser Family Health Program / Dental and Vision Care available5 Day work week (Opened 6 Days a Week)PTO / Sick PayPaid Vacations / Paid Holidays401K Plan with MatchingEmployee Purchase discountsUniforms ProvidedOpportunities for AdvancementPosition Qualifications:Reading, writing and math skillsMust have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to pass a DMV Motor Vehicle reposr for Insurance CoverageMust have a minimum 3 to 5 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment.A.S.E. certification in at least 3 (three) of A1-A8 is required.
