Head Baker

Doughnut Vault  is looking for a  Full Time Head Baker (up to $65k/year + bonus structure) to join our team!

Must believe in quality by consistently upholding defined standards over time. Able to provide guidance and support for employees, is involved in the day-to-day operations of the Back of House and collaborates and communicates with Front of House team to create genuine guest experiences.

Experience And Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in doughnut production.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to ongoing changes.
• Able to inspire, motivate, and develop employees.
• Proven track record in building high-performing teams.
• Professional and confident verbal and written communication with guests, employees and ownership.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversight of set up and stock station with all necessary supplies, ensuring proper inventory control.
• Support production by cooking and preparing menu items in cooperation with the kitchen/bakery team according to the Hogsalt Recipe Index, ensuring food quality and time standards are always met.
• Answer, report to, and follow instructions from Baking & Pastry Director, Executive Chef, or other leadership.
• Ensure the team properly clean and break down station at the end of service, ensuring all food handling and food storage standards are met.
• Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations at all times.
• Admin duties include:
  • Place orders
  • Record necessary invoices
  • Schedule staff
  • Scheduling Doughnut specials
• Oversee quality control of production.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, leadership, and vendors.
• Perform shift change and/or opening and closing duties.
