An exciting opportunity is available for a pharmacist to support a children’s hospital located in Wolfforth, TX. This contract role begins ASAP and spans six months with the potential for a day shift transition later in the assignment. The pharmacist will work night shifts, covering from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off. Starting in July or August, the position will transition to daytime hours to cover a pharmacist on FMLA through mid-January 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care and medication management in a pediatric inpatient setting.
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for accurate medication dispensing and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license.
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy practice, preferably within pediatric care.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication automation systems.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
