HR Generalist | Walker, MI

Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Walker that are seeking skilled HR Generalists. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for various manufacturing roles, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS.
• Support employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
• Coordinate and deliver HR-related training programs for factory staff.
• Assist with benefits administration and workers' compensation claims.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
• Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
