If you are looking to stretch and grow your career our culture will embrace you.Open up opportunities with HPE.Job Description:We are seeking a Pricing Specialist to support our office in Berkeley Heights, NJ.Key responsibilitiesProvide lease structuring to the Financial Area Managers for new customer opportunities.Partner with Business Development in designing flexible pricing structures and programsWork with Sales to design a solution that address Customer’s pain pointsSupport the HPEFS Bid Desk with pricing requests and questions.Provide global pricing solutions for customers and partnersSupport Sales Community with Complex pricing structuresCollect competitive lease rates and provide competitive lease rate analyses.Develop quarterly update pricing for the existing HPEFS customers.Communicate and distribute the new pricing prior to the next quarter and established deadlinesAssist the SE with documentation issues.Provide pricing expertise to the Credit and Legal Organizations.Assist the Financial Area Managers with lease vs buy analyses.Train HPEFS New Joiners on pricing policies and procedures.Provide pricing training to new Financial Area Managers.Provide pricing training and ongoing guidance to new Pricing Specialists.Interface with Tax, Accounting, Treasury, and Legal to ensure the current assumptions are reflected in the pricing models.Develop Excel pricing models and tools for specific business requirementsQualifications:College degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance.The position requires Accounting and / or Finance experience of at least 5 years, and good quantitative and problem solving abilities.Strong attention to detail and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management is required.Works on complex problems / projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors.Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectivesTypically 3-5 years of experience in a business related function, preferably finance or accounting.Advanced understanding of internal business processes and policies.Strong business acumen and understanding of accounting conceptsThe following will be considered a strong advantage:Understanding of the leasing industry and how business is done within the context of HPEFSKnowledge of HPE ‘go to market’ strategies, business units and segmentsPrior experience working with Sales supporting functions (CD, PM, Finance, sales analysis, operations consulting)Knowledge and skillsSuperior MS Excel knowledge – pivots, formulas, vlookup, consolidation of large amounts of data, accuracyExcellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (incl Power Point)Mastery in English and local language as well as other languages as required.Multi-tasker with the ability to equally execute on strategic initiatives and tactical project plansEffective influencer of business decisions with the ability to give and receive feedbackExcellent business judgementRelationship management skillsThe candidate must be able to work in a virtual team environment.Good interpersonal skills are required.Impacts multiple teams on medium to large projects.Networks with other cross functional teams to share business knowledge.Effective organization, time Management, prioritization, Follow-up and Execution skillsExceptional analytical skills and the ability to communicate results in an ‘easy-to-understand’ business contextWhat We Can Offer You:Health & WellbeingWe strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.Personal & Professional DevelopmentWe also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.
