Business Analyst Position

Job Title: Business Analyst (Entry Junior Level) Location: Hartford, Connecticut (Onsite / Hybrid) Employment Type: W2 (Contract) Experience Required: 0-2 Years About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and QA teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define project requirements Create and manage User Stories, Product Backlogs, and Sprint activities in an Agile environment Perform data analysis, reporting, and validation using SQL and Excel Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with QA and development teams Assist in process improvement initiatives and workflow analysis Maintain project documentation using Jira and Confluence Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams Required Skills 6 months to 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related role Good understanding of Business Analysis concepts and SDLC methodologies Experience with SQL and Microsoft Excel Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience working with Jira and Confluence Preferred Skills Experience with Power BI or Tableau Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools Exposure to software development projects and Agile delivery models Work Authorization EAD Why Join Us?
