We focus on maintaining a safe work environment and strive to achieve zero injuries through our safety-first culture.This position is responsible for a variety of tasks that are manufacturing or distribution based and may include assembling and manufacturing sales orders, picking products from the warehouse, shipping and receiving, and where required, delivery of products to customers. The reporting location for this position will be on-site at a customer facility in El Segundo, CA.ResponsibilitiesMust maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and proceduresAssembles products to company, customer and manufacturer's standardsPerforms all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instructionReceives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehousePicks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shippingDelivers product as requiredOperates mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts (if applicable)Assists with physical inventoryMakes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvementsPerform other duties as trained and qualified forSkills and AbilitiesApplicants should possess the ability to interact with team members in a professional mannerMust have good communication skillsRequires basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in units of measureBasic mechanical skills including the use of hand toolsBasic computer skills preferred, including email and internetMinimum QualificationsMust be 21 years of age or olderA valid driver's license and a clean driving recordAbility to safely drive a Company truck or other mechanical equipment3 - 5 years of related warehousing or production experienceA high school diploma or GEDReliable transportation is a mustAbility to work overtime, as requiredAbility to work nights and weekends, as requiredBackground checks and drug screening will be required (by Company, Customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and operating equipment as required or permitted by law)Preferred QualificationsIndustrial setting experiencePhysical Requirements and Work EnvironmentAbility to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs independently on a repeated basis.
