Litigation Associate - Insurance Defense Location: White Plains, NY Compensation: $150,000-$200,000 Base + Bonus Hybrid Schedule Negotiable Established litigation practice seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Associate to join a growing team handling negligence defense matters throughout NYC and surrounding counties. Responsibilities
• Manage insurance defense litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Draft motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and discovery responses
• Attend court appearances, hearings, conferences, and mediations
• Work directly with insurance carriers, clients, experts, and opposing counsel
• Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy Requirements
• Active New York Bar admission
• 5-7 years of Insurance Defense litigation experience
• Strong negligence defense background
• Deposition experience required
• Trial experience preferred
• Strong legal writing and communication skills
• Ability to independently manage a busy caseload Compensation & Benefits
