You will be leading a team of talented engineers to build innovative new user experiences, build cutting edge new Kubernetes services that delivers new secure, resilient, and world class capabilities that drives the new business model for Intuit.ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will be the overall lead of KE front end, which includes a hosted authoring environment, administrative UIs, and runtime application UI generationsArchitecting and developing software, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POC’s)Leading the gathering of functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planningActing as the technical subject matter expert: mentoring fellow engineers, demonstrating technical expertise, and leading a small team solving challenging programming and design problemsGenerate technical documentation and PowerPoint presentations to communicate architectural and design options, and educate development teams and business usersResolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patchesWork cross-functionally with various Intuit teams including: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, and/or business units to drive forward resultsDemonstrate a passion for developing well architected, elegant, frontend or backend software.Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologiesQualifications8+ years’ experience designing, developing, maintaining, and innovating enterprise level, cloud native applications or platform, specifically in the front endStrong leadership experience: Leading meetings, presenting, technical go to person, and cross-functional leaderBS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experienceStrong coding skills with the following: JavaScript/React, PythonWorking knowledge of Java/J2EE, Kotlin would be helpfulExpertise with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)3+ years’ experience with micro services architecture and API designs (REST, GraphQL)A passion for operational excellence and DevOps mentalityExcellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiencesExpertise in the Software design/architecture processExpertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)Business Acumen - strategic thinking & strategy development FooterIntuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
