Lead CT Technologist

This role involves performing a wide range of advanced CT imaging procedures, including specialized protocols like TAVR, Cardiac CTA, and brain perfusions, with a focus on patient safety, accurate imaging, and quality control. Responsibilities Include Providing safe, age-appropriate patient care, verifying orders, and assessing contraindications. Preparing patients, administering contrast media, and ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Operating and maintaining imaging equipment, adjusting techniques to minimize radiation dose, and troubleshooting malfunctions. Producing diagnostically acceptable images, reviewing images for quality, and submitting studies promptly. Supporting department operations through workflow management, supply monitoring, and assisting colleagues. Mentoring and training fellow technologists, participating in process improvement, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Communicating effectively with patients, staff, and physicians using clear explanations and professional demeanor. Qualifications Include Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. ARRT Radiography and CT certifications, along with BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including 1 year in CT. Skills Required Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities. Independent, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently under pressure. Deep understanding of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and quality control protocols.
