Reporting Analyst
Immediate need for a talented Reporting Analyst with experience in the Banking & Financial Industry. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, TX. Please review the job description below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing timely and accurate reporting that enables our leadership to make informed data-driven decisions.
- Development of reports, charts, tables, graphs, and intermediate statistical analysis using tools such as Python, Tableau, SAS, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
- Automate standardized reporting.
- Generation and delivery of standard reports.
- Synthesize raw data into actionable insights to drive business decisions.
- Identify gaps and opportunities for improvements among existing reports.
- Completion of ad-hoc reporting, data, and analysis requests.
- Create and maintain process documentation.
- Meet regular delivery timelines.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in designing reports, charts, graphs in Microsoft Office applications.
- 5+ years of recent SQL programming experience preferably in Windows.
- Ability to multitask on several projects at once.
- Ability to work independently with deadlines and deliver high quality results.
- Advanced experience in creating Access databases and Excel Reports using modules, forms, macros, formulas, VBA, and pivot tables.
- Strong understanding of financial services data desired.
- Proficiency with web and client based reporting tools i.e. Aginity or Hyperion.
- Data warehouse experience helpful.
- Python and Tableau experience helpful.
