Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ED for adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, including initial assessment, monitoring, stabilization, and ongoing care.
- Administer medications, analgesia, IV therapies, antibiotics, and other treatments per physician orders; manage emergent interventions as needed.
- Respond to acute events (rapid responses, code situations) and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document care, orders, and patient status in the Epic EMR; ensure accurate handoffs during admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Support patient flow through triage, treatment, disposition, and communication with patients and families; follow infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements
- Active, current New York Registered Nurse license with Nursys verification
- Minimum of 2 years ED nursing experience; pediatric exposure preferred
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS, plus PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher from an accredited program
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment; must be available for 12-hour evening shifts
- Travel eligibility: must live at least 75 miles from the assigned facility; locals accepted at the local rate
- Valid driver's license and address that matches demographics; RTO (time-off requests) must be included at submission
