Contracts Specialist

Cogent Biosciences

Cogent Biosciences seeks a Contracts Specialist to support the legal team with contract lifecycle management, including drafting, negotiation, and administration. The role manages internal and external partnerships while reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager.

Responsibilities

Prepare, draft, and negotiate contracts including CDAs, NDAs, SOWs, and Task Orders
Maintain contract records and track information in lifecycle management platform
Coordinate acceptance and signature processes with appropriate signatories
Serve as primary contact for internal stakeholder inquiries and contract status updates
Support employee onboarding to contracting processes and provide training on best practices

Requirements

Proficiency with Agiloft Contracts Lifecycle Management platform
Experience drafting and negotiating various contract types
Knowledge of contract compliance and legal requirements
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders
