Production Manager

Job Description

Abundant Life Church (ALC) is seeking an experienced, creative, and spiritually mature Production Manager to lead the technical production of our weekly worship services, special events, and online broadcasts.

Serving as our primary Technical Director and Service Producer , this individual will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of live production, including audio, video, lighting, LED walls, livestreaming, and broadcast operations.

\n

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with strong production expertise, creative vision, and the ability to make confident real-time decisions. This individual must be sensitive to the flow of worship, responsive to pastoral direction, and passionate about creating engaging, seamless, and distraction-free worship experiences.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as Technical Director and Service Producer for weekly worship services, conferences, and special events.
\n
• Direct multi-camera production, video switching, camera shading, signal routing, recording, and broadcast workflows.
\n
• Oversee professional audio systems, digital mixing consoles, wireless microphones, RF systems, Dante audio networking, and broadcast audio.
\n
• Manage LED video walls, video processors, presentation systems, stage lighting, and livestreaming equipment.
\n
• Utilize production software and platforms, including ProPresenter, Planning Center, and livestreaming applications.
\n
• Lead production planning, rehearsals, technical cues, service transitions, and real-time troubleshooting.
\n
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop production staff and volunteers.
\n
• Maintain production equipment, coordinate preventive maintenance, manage budgets, and recommend system improvements.
\n
• Collaborate with Worship Arts, Creative Arts, and ministry leadership to support the church's vision and ministry objectives.

Qualifications & Technical Expertise\n

\n
• 5+ years of professional experience in live production, broadcast, audiovisual production, or church production, including demonstrated leadership experience.
\n
• Proven ability to serve as a Technical Director or Service Producer in live worship services or comparable high-capacity events.
\n
• Advanced knowledge of multi-camera production, video switchers, routing systems, LED walls, and livestreaming workflows.
\n
• Working proficiency with digital audio consoles, Dante audio systems, RF coordination, broadcast audio, and professional lighting systems.
\n
• Experience with ProPresenter, Planning Center, and professional broadcast and streaming equipment.
\n
• Strong technical troubleshooting, project management, communication, and team leadership skills.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Production, Media Production, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
\n
• Preferred certifications: Dante Level 2 or higher, AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), or comparable professional audiovisual or broadcast production certifications.
\n
• Experience leading production teams in a large church, broadcast, concert, or live-event environment preferred.
\n
• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrated spiritual maturity, and a heart for ministry.
\n
• Ability to support the mission, biblical values, and pastoral leadership of a local non-denominational church.
\n
• Flexibility to work Sundays, evenings, rehearsals, and special events as needed.
