Make a meaningful impact this school year as a contract Speech Language Pathologist, working on-site with a vibrant group of middle school students in the Sanford, FL area. A new opportunity has opened for a dedicated SLP (CCC) to join an established team, focused on fostering student success in communication and academic growth.

Your role will center around students in grades 6–8, serving a single school site with a manageable caseload of 60–65 students. You’ll have the chance to collaborate closely with teachers and faculty to design and implement individualized service plans aimed at helping each student reach their greatest potential.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences & Disorders, or related field
• Current FL State License and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Previous school-based experience working with middle or high school students
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation
• Ability to complete district-required background checks and credentialing steps promptly

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy and evaluations for students in grades 6–8
• Develop, implement, and track IEP goals for assigned caseload
• Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation in accordance with district and ASHA standards
• Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary teams as assigned
