Embark on a rewarding opportunity serving middle school students as a contract Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This on-site position focuses on providing expert speech and language services to students in grades 6 through 8, supporting their growth and communication skills in a collaborative school environment.

Your role will include:

• Managing a caseload of 60-65 middle school students, delivering both individual and group therapeutic interventions
• Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress notes
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families for optimal student outcomes
• Conducting assessments and interpreting results to guide therapy planning
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the development of educational strategies
• Maintaining current and thorough records in compliance with district, state, and national standards

Ideal candidates bring:

• A valid FL State License and SLP-CCC certification through ASHA
• A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a closely related field
• Prior school-based experience working with similar age groups and caseload numbers
• Completion of or willingness to complete time-sensitive district credentialing requirements, including background check and fingerprinting
