Step into a rewarding role supporting middle school students as a Speech Language Pathologist on a contract assignment in a vibrant educational setting near Sanford, FL. This full-time opportunity requires on-site presence and offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and make a lasting impact on students in grades 6 through 8.

Your expertise will be valued as you manage a caseload of approximately 60–65 students, working closely with school staff and families to deliver high-quality speech and language services. The assignment runs from ASAP through late May 2027, ensuring ample time to build strong relationships and witness growth in your students.

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida State License for Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related discipline
• Prior school-based experience with CCCs preferred
• Ability to complete district fingerprinting and background check promptly

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication skills and academic success
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to student progress monitoring
