Make a meaningful impact by supporting middle school students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a full-time contract assignment beginning as soon as possible and continuing through late May. You’ll work on-site with one middle school caseload, serving dedicated students in grades 6-8, helping them reach their communication potential with professional, evidence-based interventions.

This is a time-sensitive opportunity with urgent need—interviews will be held on September 4th, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM. Candidates should be prepared to share their availability and provide an email address for a WebEx coordinator meeting link.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a closely related field
• Current Florida State SLP license
• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Previous school-based SLP experience, ideally serving grades 6–8
• Capacity to manage a caseload of approximately 60–65 students
• Completion of district-required background check, fingerprinting, and credentialing

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy for students with diverse communication needs
• Maintain compliant and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
