Make a difference in students’ lives by supporting communication and language development for middle schoolers. A rewarding opportunity awaits for a passionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide on-site services to a vibrant group of grades 6–8 students this academic year.

This contract role runs through 5/24/2027, offering a consistent, full-time schedule of 35 hours per week at a single campus. With a manageable caseload of 60–65 students, you’ll work alongside a collaborative team to assess, plan, and implement interventions for students with diverse communication needs.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or related field
• Current FL State License
• SLP-CCC certification through ASHA (required)
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, particularly with grades 6–8
• Successful completion of district background check, fingerprinting, and other onboarding requirements
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized goals for students with communication disorders
• Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all learners
