Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students in grades 6–8 as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This is an on-site opportunity at a middle school, where clinical excellence and compassionate care can make a meaningful difference in students’ educational journeys. You'll enjoy collaborating with educators and families to foster communication skills that impact all aspects of learning and social development.

Ideal candidates have strong school-based experience and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Your expertise will help guide students toward their greatest potential in a supportive, structured environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Florida State License for Speech-Language Pathology
• SLP-CCC certification through ASHA
• Master’s degree in Speech-Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field
• Prior school-based experience, preferably with middle school students
• Proficiency with education-related documentation and IEP meetings
• Ability to complete district background check, fingerprinting, and time-sensitive credentialing procedures

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in grades 6–8
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student goals
• Participate in the IEP process and maintain accurate documentation
• Adjust therapy strategies to meet diverse learning needs

Contract Details & Benefits:

• Full-time role, 35 hours per week
• Assignment start date as soon as credentialing is complete, through late May
