Make a difference in the lives of middle school students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist working full-time on-site with a supportive educational team. The opportunity is available for the upcoming school year, serving a single campus and working closely with grades 6–8. The caseload is set between 60–65, focusing on helping students achieve their communication goals through individualized and group interventions.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Florida State SLP License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or related field
• Previous school-based experience at the middle or secondary level preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with educational teams
• Ability to complete district credentialing, including fingerprinting and background checks

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in grades 6-8
• Develop and implement therapy plans in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to achieve holistic student success
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and intervention outcomes
• Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as an integral member of the special education team

This role is a contract position, starting as soon as all credentials are completed, and will run through the end of the school year in late May. Full-time hours (35 per week) are expected, and you’ll have the satisfaction of seeing your impact first-hand at a single school location.
