This on-site contract position offers a full-time schedule working within a supportive environment for the upcoming academic year. With caseload specifics being finalized, you’ll work with a diverse group of middle schoolers, contributing to their communication development and academic success.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or related field
• Active Florida State License as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
• Previous experience within a school setting, preferably middle school, is highly desirable
• Willingness and ability to complete district background check and fingerprinting promptly
• Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a middle school population (grades 6–8)
• Conduct evaluations, develop intervention plans, and monitor student progress in accordance with IEP goals
• Document services and communicate outcomes with staff and families
• Provide guidance and resources to support classroom teachers and staff in supporting students with speech/language needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach
• Stay current on best practices in school-based speech therapy
