Make a significant impact as a contract Speech Language Pathologist working with middle school students in a supportive, on-site role. This assignment begins as soon as possible and lasts through late May, offering a chance to empower learners in grades 6–8 with vital communication skills. Required Qualifications:

• Current FL State License as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a closely related area
• Demonstrated experience supporting school-aged youth, ideally in a middle school environment
• Ability to fulfill time-sensitive credentialing, background check, and fingerprinting requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy to middle school students, working collaboratively with classroom educators and other specialists
• Conduct screening, assessments, and individualized interventions tailored to each student’s unique needs within grades 6–8
• Document progress, prepare regular reports, and communicate clearly with families and staff
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings, advocating effectively for students’ communication development
• Support programming across one assigned school, focused entirely on the middle grades
