Make a meaningful difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a dynamic middle school setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on-site with grades 6–8, supporting the communication needs of a diverse and engaged student population. The position is based at a single campus, ensuring continuity of care and close collaboration with school faculty and staff. This is a full-time opportunity, running from ASAP through the end of the school year.

Key qualifications:

• Valid Florida State Speech-Language Pathologist License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or related field
• Experience providing services to middle school students
• Capacity to manage a caseload of approximately 60–65 students
• Ability to complete district-mandated background checks, fingerprinting, and other credentialing requirements

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to students in grades 6–8
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and create documentation for Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
