\nOnvida Health is seeking a physician leader to serve as Medical Director of Adult Hospitalist Services. \n
\nThis role is responsible for leading and growing the hospitalist program while improving quality, patient experience, physician engagement, and operational performance. \n
\nThe Medical Director will partner closely with hospital leadership, medical staff, nursing, quality, and \n
\ncase management teams to ensure excellence in inpatient care delivery.  \n
\n
About the Position \n
\n• Full-time, Hospital employed Medical Director position \n
\n• 60/40 clinical-to-leadership split, combining dedicated program leadership with clinical practice\n
\n
Key Responsibilities \n
\nThe Medical Director will oversee the Adult Hospitalist Program and set strategic priorities while \n
\nsupporting physician recruitment, onboarding, retention, scheduling, engagement, and team \n
\ncollaboration. The role will establish program goals, performance metrics, quality standards; drive \n
\nquality improvement and patient safety initiatives; monitor physician and program performance; and \n
\npartner with utilization management to improve patient flow and length of stay. \n
\n
\nThe role will promote a culture of patient-centered care and service excellence, support physician \n
\ndevelopment in communication and patient satisfaction, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care coordination. \n
\n
\nReporting to the Physician Vice President of Primary Care and Hospital \n
\nMedicine, the Medical Director will work closely with the CMO, hospital administration, nursing \n
\nleadership, quality, and case management teams. \n
