We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services. Job Summary MOR PPM Inc. is looking for a maintenance tech in Aiken, SC. The Maintenance Tech will perform a variety of semiskilled trades for the maintenance support of the Bridgestone tire plant. Essential Duties & Responsibilities A Maintenance Tech will perform as a skilled team member in the continuous improvement of maintenance, fabrication, welding, installation, and repair of tire manufacturing equipment and components. Qualifications 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience Welding Experience Industrial maintenance experience a plus Technical school training a plus Familiarity with mobile powered equipment like aerial lifts, forklifts, cranes preferred Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas Must have full range of motion consistent with age Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
