Press Brake Operator – Sheet Metal Fabrication
Location: Cartersville, Georgia

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator with strong sheet metal fabrication experience to join a growing manufacturing team in Cartersville. This role requires hands-on programming and operating an Accurpress press brake for each job, ensuring precision-formed parts that meet production and quality specifications. The ideal candidate is confident in full setup, programming from print, and running production efficiently and safely.

Pay: $26+ per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Program each job on the Accurpress press brake , including selecting tooling, setting bend sequences, and adjusting parameters for sheet metal parts.
• Operate the press brake to form components according to blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.
• Perform setups, tool changes, and in-process quality checks to maintain accuracy throughout production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, flat patterns, bend deductions, and shop drawings used in sheet metal work.
• Inspect completed parts for dimensional accuracy, quality, and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area aligned with company safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience programming and operating press brakes (Accurpress experience highly preferred).
• Strong background in sheet metal fabrication , including understanding bend allowances and material behavior.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math relevant to bending operations.
• Mechanical aptitude with a high attention to detail.
• Experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
