Maintenance Technician III

Maintenance Technician IIIGSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Technician III in Fresno, CA, come join a dynamic property management team!In this role, you will perform a variety of maintenance functions throughout the community, including rental units, residential common areas, office spaces, grounds, and parking lots. Your work will help maintain the property in accordance with ownership and management objectives.This position is scheduled for Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The pay for this position is $23.00-25.00 per hour. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and at least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative and maintenance and repair work in areas including, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.Complete assigned service requests and repairs in accordance with company operating procedures and standards.Assist in preparing vacant apartments to ensure they are market-ready and meet company quality standards.Maintain community grounds and curb appeal and trash management.Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies as neededMaintain good public relations with residents and vendorsAssist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action itemsReport violations of lease and house rulesTimely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant's maintenance needs are being metWork with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary suppliesMaintaining excellent curb appealHelp maintaining excellent curb appealGSF Benefits:MedicalDentalVisionEmployee assistance program401KLife insuranceHolidaysVacationJob Requirements - Maintenance Technician IIIMinimum of 2+ years of relevant apartment maintenance experienceBasic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systemsExperience with minor repairs (e.g., wall patching, fixing doorknobs, basic appliance repair)Ability to complete unit turnovers and handle work orders efficientlyBasic computer skills; able to navigate web-based applicationsStrong customer service skills with internal and external customersAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamStrong communication skills; able to follow directions and accept feedbackAvailability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMValid California driver's license and reliable transportation requiredOn call as needed
