Shape young minds and support student success as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist providing on-site services for middle schoolers in a vibrant educational environment near Orlando, FL. This full-time contract opportunity runs through late May, offering you the chance to make a meaningful difference with a single school, grades 6–8, managing a manageable and rewarding caseload.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Florida State License as a Speech Language Pathologist
• SLP-CCC credential in good standing (ASHA certification)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field
• Previous school-based experience with middle grades preferred
• Comfortable with a caseload of 60–65 students
• Ability to complete district credentialing, background check, and fingerprinting promptly

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students ranging from grades 6 to 8
• Collaborate effectively with educational staff and families to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver engaging and evidence-based therapy sessions to support student growth and educational participation
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation in line with district and ASHA standards
• Participate actively in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing progress monitoring
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment for all students
