Production Supervisor

B&G Manufacturing is a growing precision machining company serving customers who expect quality, reliability, and on-time delivery. We're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor who enjoys developing people, solving problems on the shop floor, and creating a culture of accountability.

What You'll Do
As Production Supervisor, you'll lead the daily operations of our CNC and general machining departments by:

• Supervising machinists, machine operators, and lead personnel
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing employees to improve performance
• Holding employees accountable for productivity, attendance, quality, and safety
• Ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high quality standards
• Identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements
• Working closely with Production Planning and other departments to resolve scheduling issues
• Ensuring tooling, gages, equipment, and documentation are available and maintained
• Conducting performance reviews and providing ongoing coaching and feedback
• Promoting a safe work environment through training and enforcement of safety procedures
• Communicating effectively between shifts to ensure smooth production transitions

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is comfortable leading from the floor-not the office.
Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a machine shop environment
• Strong understanding of CNC machining operations
• 1-2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable
• Experience improving productivity and manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple production demands in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
• Experience with performance management and employee development
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
