Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite at our well-equipped Rehabilitation Center in Lakewood, NJ. We provide a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere where healthcare professionals work cohesively. Facilities include treatment rooms, rehabilitation equipment, and access to telehealth technologies for remote consultations when clinically appropriate. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that benefits both our staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, particularly children, diagnosing their needs and determining the best course of treatment.
• Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that address specific goals and track patient progress over time.
• Regularly reassess clients' clinical signs and progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including SOAP notes and progress summaries, utilizing our electronic record system in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, addressing any concerns and empowering them with knowledge.
• Meet established utilization goals and participate in other organizational objectives to improve service delivery.
• Engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration with other team members to coordinate comprehensive care for clients receiving multiple services.
• Embody and promote the core values and culture of Renew Motion Therapy as a dedicated ambassador for our organization.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and unrestricted licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the state of New Jersey, as mandated by the Board of Physical Therapy.
• Willingness to conduct evaluations and provide treatments both in-person and, where appropriate, via telehealth solutions.
