New Life Physical Therapy and Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our passionate team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing patients' mobility and quality of life through comprehensive physical therapy practices. You will work closely with individuals to restore their functional capabilities and assist them in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Our state-of-the-art clinic spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technology, ensuring we deliver the highest standard of therapy services. Our organization fosters a collaborative environment where our team of skilled practitioners, including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, works together to prioritize patient well-being and outcomes.

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our outpatient office, you will enjoy a supportive team atmosphere where your expertise and patient care philosophy will be valued. Our hours of operation are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable work schedule that encourages work-life balance. We predominantly serve patients with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on delivering personalized care without the constraints often found in other healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions to determine specific therapy goals and needs.
• Maintaining a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring focused attention and tailored care plans.
• Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Administering evidence-based rehabilitation therapies aimed at increasing patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Focusing on reducing reliance on medication by proposing non-surgical treatment options whenever possible.
• Creating individualized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's rehabilitation goals and lifestyle.
• Providing continuous motivation and support to patients throughout their treatment journey to foster optimal recovery.
• Collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes and ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitoring patient progress, evaluating treatment outcomes, and adjusting care strategies as necessary.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily caters to a diverse patient population, focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey without any prior board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in evidence-based practice and management of diverse patient cases.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
