Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their team in Atlantic City, NJ, specializing in Casino Defense Litigation and Employment Law. The role involves representing casino and hospitality clients in various legal proceedings and requires a strong understanding of employment law. Duties Assist in initial case evaluation and development of litigation strategy. Represent clients in employment-related litigation and administrative proceedings. Conduct legal research and draft correspondences, pleadings, and motions. Prepare for and conduct depositions. Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Assist in preparing settlement agreements and briefs. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Admission to New Jersey Bar. 2-4 years' experience in Defense Litigation; Casino/Hospitality experience preferred. Strong understanding of Employment Law. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software programs. Experience with NetDocs and Time Matters is helpful. Education Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to New Jersey Bar. Skills Analytical and problem-solving skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Communication skills, both written and verbal.
