Member Team Lead

Position Summary Assists management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved following company guidelines. Communicates and supports membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits, processing memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, encouraging membership renewals, and participating in sales and marketing events. Provides excellent member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, guiding members on the use of self‑service technology, handling transactions at registers or self‑checkout, and ensuring club pick‑up orders are filled. Oversees the assigned area by handling claims and returns, zoning and organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, maintaining cart and flat‑bed availability, and ensuring parking lot cleanliness. Completes accounting records, files transactions, and prepares daily deposits, Cash‑Fund Transfers, and financial analysis reports; investigates overages and shortages; ensures confidentiality and accuracy of financial data. Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs through collaboration with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; monitors progress and identifies improvement opportunities. Promotes and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics; implements action plans, assists management with ethical and compliance issues, and uses the Open Door Policy. Leads and participates in teams by sharing resources, determining customer needs, coordinating work assignments, and modeling adaptability to change. Responsibilities Supervise & train associates, assign duties, provide feedback, and ensure compliance. Communicate membership benefits, process memberships, and support renewals. Assist members with purchases, merchandise location, and transaction processes. Handle claims, returns, and area organization, including merchandise and cart management. Maintain accounting records, prepare deposits, investigate discrepancies, and manage cash‑fund transfers. Develop and implement process improvements in collaboration with business partners. Support compliance and ethics initiatives, including the Open Door Policy. Lead team activities, coordinate assignments, and model change adaptation. Build inclusive relationships, promote belonging, and mentor colleagues. Uphold integrity, support company values, and act with humility and transparency. Deliver customer‑focused solutions and continuous improvement. Minimum Qualifications 6 months retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment. 6 months customer‑service experience. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Front‑end team leadership and supervisory experience, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workloads. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
